Martin Griffin's book "Narrative, Identity, and the Map of Cultural Policy: Once Upon a Time in a Globalized World" published by Ashgate

Martin Griffin's book Narrative, Identity, and the Map of Cultural Policy: Once Upon a Time in a Globalized World has just been published by Ashgate (October 2013). Co-authored with Constance DeVereaux of Colorado State University, it examines the relationship of narrative as a mode of human interaction to policy discourse, and looks at the changing nature of identity in a transnational world.  Using case studies from Berlin after WW2 to the struggles of Hopi communities in Arizona today, Narrative, Identity, and the Map of Cultural Policy investigates problems of cultural policy in history and contemporary society.
