Sumner Brown has been accepted into the M.A. program in rhetoric and writing in UT's English Department

Sumner Brown graduated in December 2012 with an American Studies major, and has been accepted into the M.A. program in rhetoric and writing in UT's English Department. She will continue to explore the cultural politics of journalism, building on her senior project that compared representations of the Occupy Movement in the New York Times (for example in this image), Al Jazeera, and other newspapers.
